After a dramatic loss in the Big 12 Championship Game, the Husker football team will look to end a tremendous 2009 season at the Holiday Bowl in San Diego, Calif.
Nebraska, which nearly defeated Texas before a controversial replay gave Texas enough time to kick a game-winning field goal for a 13-12 win, goes into the Dec. 30 matchup with Arizona having compiled a 9-4 record and claiming the Big 12 North Division title.
The Huskers will be taking part in their 46th bowl game in school history, the fifth highest total in college football. Nebraska is making its second appearance in the Holiday Bowl. Oddly enough, their first trip to San Diego came in 1998, when it lost to Arizona 23-20.
You can get tickets to see Nebraska take on Arizona in the Holiday Bowl, Dec. 30 in San Diego, Calif., now at Ticket Express -- where no Husker football game is ever sold out.
