The Husker football team is picking things up as it prepares to take on Arizona in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 30 in San Diego, Calif.
The Huskers went through a 90-minute workout on Saturday in the Hawks Championship Center, capping what coach Bo Pelini called "a good week of practice."
Nebraska will have some informal workouts during the holiday break, but the team will get together as a unit on Dec. 24 to begin preparations for the Holiday Bowl. Plans are for the Huskers to leave Lincoln on Christmas Day, giving them a few days to get used to the change in time and climate as they gear up to face Arizona.
