The Husker football team hits the road for the first time this weekend, as they travel to Blacksburg, Va., to take on Virginia Tech.
Both teams come into the game ranked by both major polls. Virginia Tech is ranked 13th in the AP poll and 14th in the coaches poll, while the Huskers are 19th and 18th, respectively.
The Huskers have put together two solid defensive efforts, allowing just 12 points in the first two games. They are going to have their hands full, however, as they face a talented offense led by junior quarterback Tyrod Taylor, who has helped the Hokies rack up more than 500 yards rushing in games against Alabama and Marshall.
The Husker football team will have one more non-conference game before entering the Big 12 portion of their schedule, as they will host Louisiana-Lafayette on Sept. 26 at Memorial Stadium.
Don't forget, the best seats in the house for Husker football are available now at Ticket Express -- where no Husker football game is ever sold out.
