You can be a part of history this weekend when the Nebraska Cornhuskers take on the Louisiana-Lafayette Rajun' Cajuns at Memorial Stadium.
Saturday's 6 p.m. kickoff marks the 300th consecutive capacity crowd to witness a Nebraska football game in Memorial Stadium, a streak that started back in November of 1962 under then-head coach Bob Devaney.
Memorial Stadium has been a tough place for opposing teams to play over the years, as Nebraska has won more than 85 percent of their home games during the streak. No doubt the Rajun' Cajuns will find the atmosphere to be challenging as they look to upset the Huskers on a special night.
There are many plans for the evening, including honoring Devaney's family and welcoming members of the 1962 team that started the streak back for a special banquet and honoring ceremony.
You can be a part of history Saturday when the Huskers meet Louisiana-Lafayette. Great seats are available to be a part of the 300th consecutive sellout of Memorial Stadium now at Ticket Express -- where no Husker home game is ever sold out.
