There will be a lot of electricity in the Bob Devaney Sports Center tonight as Nebraska meets LSU in the Ameritas Classic.
The matchup between the Huskers and LSU is set for 6 p.m. and will follow the 3:30 p.m. matchup between St. John's and New Mexico. Losers will meet Saturday at the UNL Coliseum at 12:30 p.m., with the championship game set for 3 p.m.
The Huskers are off to a great start and will look to continue that momentum against a very solid LSU team that could be in the thick of the national title race by season's end. A Nebraska win tonight would mark their sixth in as many tries and keep them in the discussion for a potential trip to the NCAA volleyball final four this December in Omaha at the Qwest Center.
The University of Nebraska has declared tonight's game a sellout, but there are still a few select tickets available at Ticket Express -- where no Husker home game is ever sold out.
