The Nebraska baseball team plays its first home series of the 2008 season this weekend, playing host to UC-Riverside in a four-game series at Haymarket Park.
The Huskers open a 10-game homestand with the Highlanders, a team Nebraska saw last year during the NCAA regional tournament in Tempe, Ariz. UC-Riverside beat Nebraska 10-5 in the opening round, but Nebraska got revenge in the losers' bracket with an 11-1 win to eliminate the Highlanders.
The Huskers and Highlanders will play single games Friday and Sunday and a doubleheader on Saturday. Friday's game starts at 1:35 p.m., the Saturday doubleheader begins at 12:05 p.m. and Sunday's finale has a 1:05 p.m. start time.
